Every Wednesday morning at 7:05 AM (MST) or 8:05 AM (CST in Nashville) morning radio host Jimmy Hughes hosts the "NASHVILLE CONNECTION" radio program. One Wednesday Terry Seay will be discussing what's happening in the songwriter community in Nashville and around the country and on alternate Wednesdays Jimmy Hughes will interview a songwriter who has written one of country music's classic songs. Interviews have included the following:
  • Kent Blazy who wrote Garth Brook's hits "Ain't Going Down til the Sun Comes Up" and "If Tomorrow Never Comes"
  • Jimbeau Hinson who wrote "Fancy Free" by Alabama and David Lee Murphy's "Party Crowd"
  • Tony Arata who wrote Garth Brook's favorite song "The Dance"
  • Danny Flowers who wrote "Tulsa Time" recorded by Don Williams
  • Kim Williams wrote Randy Travis's "Three Wooden Crosses" and "Over Night Male" (from the movie Pure Country)
  • Jim McBride' s "Chattahoochee" recorded by Alan Jackson and Waylon Jenning's "Rose in Paradise"
  • Becky Hobbs who wrote "Angels Among Us" by Alabama and Conway Twitty's "I Want to Know You (Before We Make Love)
